Job Summary:
The Fire Chief will be responsible for overseeing all operations and personnel within the fire station. This role requires strong leadership, extensive firefighting experience, and a solid understanding of safety standards, emergency response, and team management. The Fire Chief ensures the station operates efficiently and maintains readiness for any emergency situation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily activities and operations at the fire station.
- Manage and train firefighting personnel to ensure peak performance.
- Develop and implement safety procedures, emergency response plans, and training programs.
- Maintain firefighting equipment and ensure all systems are operational.
- Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services during incidents.
- Lead response efforts during fires, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergencies.
